Solid Gold Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

My first recipe from Tish Boyle’s The Cake Book. The recipe was simple and straight forward. The cake had a great texture. It was light and moist, however, I felt that it tasted more like a spice cake than a carrot cake. I already have a few ideas on how I plan on adjusting the recipe to match my personal taste next time.
